Bio
Lead Star's founders, Angie Morgan and Courtney Lynch, received their leadership training as Marine Corps officers. Serving in an organization where 94 percent of their peers were men, they gained a unique perspective on what it takes to be a leader and how to achieve success as a minority in an organization. After they left the Corps, Angie and Courtney were astonished by how effective they were as civilians when they applied their Marine Corps training to both their professional and personal lives.

While most women don't choose the Corps as a career, Angie and Courtney recognized how all women can benefit from the knowledge of two who did. Lead Star's leadership theories and philosophies are based on the principles and traits taught to all Marines. What makes Lead Star unique is that it presents the Corps' proven techniques by women, for women, in an easy-to-understand manner. Lead Star leadership workshops focus on highlighting the inherent leadership strengths and weaknesses women possess.

All women have the innate ability to become better leaders. Lead Star hopes to reach as many women as possible with its positive, inspirational message that can be applied to any challenge women encounter. By becoming stronger leaders, women become stronger citizens, employees, friends, mothers, confidants, and more.
